AFTERMATH, PART 2.

1 WWW.THEUNTAMEDNATURAL.COM-4Recovering from Coronavirus hasn’t been easy. It’s been a lot of tears, stress, and prayer … I was honestly terrified. I think so many people have their misconceptions about the virus, and they don’t really assume it’s as bad as people make it out to be. In fact, the number of people who believe this is all some hoax … some conspiracy … are sadly mistaken. I’ve been sick for almost two months, TWO MONTHS! Yes, I am feeling so much better, but wow, it’s been a long road.

It’s also made me realize how important it is to take care of myself. I’d like to thinkI know my body, I know my limits … but Coronavirus definitely pushed me to limits I wasn’t aware of. When we’re sick, our body goes through so much trauma, it seems. So many people have been asking me what I’ve been doing since I got sick, and how the recovery process has been, so I figured I would discuss everything, here.

So, let’s start with medication. Keep in mind, there isn’t any “true” medicine made to specifically treatment COVID, it’s treated like an upper respiratory infection so some things helped, some things didn’t. I took a lot of medication and A LOT of vitamins, so keeping a schedule helped.

8 AM – lemon tea with honey and 2 echinacea
(You can open the capsules and pour them in)
Applesauce with vitamin B capsule
One tessalon perle (cough medicine)
One antibiotic

9:30 AM – Mucinex (20 ml)

11:30 AM – 2 echinacea
1 vitamin d capsule
Lemon tea with liquid vitamin C

4:00 PM – One antibiotic
2 echinacea
Take a cap of whatever cough meds you have to help

6:00 PM – tessalon perle

8:00 PM – Hot steam shower (I would sit in my bathroom for about 20 minutes to open myself up)

What I ate:

– applesauce
– plain rice
– beef/chicken broth
– soup
– oranges/apples
– toast
What I drank:

– Water
– sugar free juice
– gatorade
– hot tea (lemon, ginger, or green)

I also kept my humidifier on 24/7, during the day I would crack the windows to let fresh air in and help release some of the germs from being in my room all day. When I had enough strength, I would sit in my backyard (with my mask of course) and get at least 10-20 minutes of fresh air, it helps lessen chest pressure and makes your lungs feel clear. I never forced myself to eat, but would make sure I took sips of liquid throughout the day to avoid dehydration (it really helped with my headaches), especially if you have a lot of vomiting and diarrhea- I did.

When I say you don’t want this in your system, please believe me. This process has been extremely difficult. I did nebulizer treatments once a day for two weeks, walked back and forth in the backyard to build my strength, and tried to get as much rest as possible. Am I feeling 100%? Not yet, but compared to where I was almost two months ago, I feel amazing. I pray that you all are safe, and if you have to go out, please wear a mask.
